Writes Vicki Boykis:
"If you’ve ever been to a Russian house, you know what I’m talking about. The tea set comes out, the fruits and nuts come out, and out comes the Ferrero Rocher."What else do Russians like? Off the top of my head: jams of all kinds (eaten out of a saucer, with a spoon), honey, Russian ginger cookies (prianiki). Take it away, readers!

Nutella on bread - - and every other brand like it, actually. I remember when I lived there in the 90s - - Nutella wasn't the most popular brand. I wonder why more didn't come to the US. And oh yes - prianiki!! Have a good recipe for that??
How about...
+sunflower seeds
+cakes, but not the American kind
+godawful salads with mayonnaise as the main ingredient?
cmyetana. :)
Ptichye Moloko (russian version of masrshmallow)
pickles, kefir, yogurt ... and I second Nutella on bread ... yum yum yum
Tort, waffle cookies, Any kind of chocolate (Krasnaya Oktyabr, etc).
This is hilarious!! I always joke to my Russian husband about Ferrero Rochers, and I get him some for every holiday :) I also joke about loving Italians, which is also mentioned in the blog post. Every time my mother-in-law buys something for me, she makes it a point to tell me that it was made in Italy.
Russians also love mushroom hunting, Adidas tracksuits (men only), dill & parsley, and sour cream :)
