It's terrible social media etiquette to interrupt a long blogging silence just to say, "Hey, I'm in the news," but, hey, I'm in the news. Actually, I'm in
Milwaukee Home and Fine Living Magazine, which published my
savory mushroom pie recipe (and mistakenly called me a chef--I just play one in my kitchen).
That's awesome! Way to go!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Russian/American girl living in India for six months. Stumbled across your blog just as I was experiencing the "weird food cravings" portion of culture shock. You're inspiring me with a taste of home! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I like pelmeni with butter, black pepper, and paprika : )
Thanks, Stef!
ReplyDeleteEvelina--You're welcome. :) I like butter and black pepper on my pelmeni, too.
Hurrah! That's great news. Many congrats. Gonna go tweet about it right now :)
ReplyDeleteContinued success to you! You're a great writer and obviously a great cook (you make Napoleon with the "right" cream).
ReplyDeleteLo-Thanks for the tweetin'. :)
ReplyDeleteEvelina--Thank you kindly. My mom makes the napoleon--I only eat it!
Hey, that's fantastic news! :)
ReplyDeleteYulia, found your blog reading the Milwaukee Home article. Congratulations on being in the news! We are neighbors and from the similar heritage :) I plan to stop by frequently, so keep writing :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being in the Milwaukee press! I met you at the Social Media University workshop last summer. I just moved to Minneapolis and everything is great here! Good luck with the cooking and writing!
ReplyDeleteMaya--Thanks. Nice to have another Milwaukee reader.
ReplyDeleteChocolate Lady--thanks!
Bridget-Nice to hear from you again. Glad you like Minneapolis!
